Helpful Websites

Here is a list of those websites we find helpful and fun.

Please see:

1.  http://www.rennaisanceplace.com to level your books at home. Click on "Store", then "AR Book Finder".

2.  http://www.mathletics.ca to practice math skills. Your child will have a username and password taped to the front pouch of their agenda. This site will allow you access to both Math and Spelling practice through Spellodrome.

3.  http://www.razkids.com to find books on line to read. Every once in a while, there will be an assigned reading here. You need a microphone if you are going to allow your child to do it at home. This recording we usually do at school for assessment purposes. Your child's recording gets sent to me, and I can listen and assess your child's reading from home.

4. http://www.dogonews.com to find current events for kids for Social Studies.

5. http://kids.nationalgeographic.com for another good site on current events for kids.

6. www.spellingcity.com for free spelling word practice.
